Too many pets are being euthanized every day simply because there are more pets than people to adopt them. The solution is simple and now there is a local program to help.
If you have a pet that has not been spayed/neutered and your gross household income is under $50,000, please contact us. The fee for a dog under 40 pounds to be spay/neutered plus rabies shot is $60. The fee for a cat to be spayed/neutered plus rabies shot is $40. Other vet services such as: heartworm test (for dogs) and upper resperatory screening (for cats), worming, toe nail trim, booster shots are available at reduced cost during their visit.
The longer you wait to have your pet spayed/neutered, the greater the risk of unwanted litters. Please help save many lives by scheduling your pet's spay/neuter today.
To qualify for this program, the following must be met:
- Annual gross household income $50,000 and under. Proof required.
- Pet must be current on Bordetella vaccine.
- If your pet is not current on other vaccines (rabies and boosters) these shots will be required at time of spay/neuter.
- Pet must be your personal pet.
You may signup for this special program every Saturday during the hours we show shelter and foster pets.
