About
Us
This organization was
created to work with municipal animal shelters to develop an
adoption center for shelter pets and to help municipal shelters get
the support they need to care for the pets housed at their
facility.
Many rural shelters are operating under substandard conditions.
Some buildings are flooded when it rains, below freezing in the
winter and unbearable in the summer heat. This should be
unacceptable for any community. Many do not know these conditions
exit. They pay taxes to support the city animal shelter, but do not
visit the shelters to ensure they are operating at a acceptable
level. This organization will do it's best to get the community
involved in their local shelter.
Many animal rescue organizations try to pull pets from their
municipal animal shelter as much as possible. Often these rescue
organizations take in pets directly from the public, leaving little
space for shelter pets. To help fill a need in the animal rescue
community, the organization's main program is to provide adoption
events for shelter pets. We will volunteer with municipal animal
shelters and provide resources to promote adoptions. This
organization will also work with the community by providing
information on the importance of spay/neuter programs, provide
information and services on obtaining low cost spay/neuter for
their pet and educate the community on animal welfare.
Many pets that end up in a city animal shelter have an owner, but
without proper ID tagging for their pet, many of these pets are
euthanized or adopted out before their owners find them. This
organization will work with the community and provide microchipping
and ID tag services at a lower cost to ensure their pet will find
their way home.
Please support this organization’s efforts in helping bring
communities together to reduce the pet overpopulation.
