Remember Tango? the kitty with burns on his back? He's doing so much better. He's here to promote Testicular cancer awareness week (2nd-7th). Tango was one of the unusual boys whose little parts (ahem) didn't drop. He had a urinary tract infection and other issues because of this. April also recognizes Cancer Control Month. Did you know that spaying or neutering your pet can reduce their chances of mammory or testicular cancer? Thanks to Dr. Karn, Tango had a "spay" neuter and is worry-free for having that type of cancer. He'll be up for adoption soon and is looking forward to his forever home.

These pets are looking for love...

Please spay and neuter your pets.

What does Partnering mean..

Partnering is a formal process designed to improve communications and build a culture of teamwork, cooperation and good faith performance among the people and organizations working towards a common goal. It is not a legal but a relational social contract. Partnering is a "process" because it requires action-not just words.

We have completed the Standards of Excellence course..

Partnering for Pets, Inc. is a member of the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. In 2008, we attended the Oklahoma Standard of Excellence course (an ethics and accountability code for the nonprofit sector). We are pleased to announce, we have completed the course and building the organization based on the 8 Principles and 55 Standards of the Standards for Excellence program. Please visit the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits website and learn more about the Oklahoma Standards of Excellence. (Partnering for Pets, Inc. is the second animal welfare organization in the state of Oklahoma to attend this course).

Can I Crash on Your Couch for a while??

Partnering for Pets needs volunteers to provide in-home care for homeless dogs and cats until they are adopted. All veterinary care is paid by our organization. Food, litter and other supplies may also be provided. Fostering can last from a few weeks to several months. To learn more about our foster program, please call our foster coordinator at 918-376-2525. You can also download an application using this link: Foster Application.

By providing an animal a temporary home, the foster has given the pet another chance at life they would otherwise not have. Please consider fostering or if you know someone that may want to participate in our foster program, please forward this information.
